Located at the foot of CN Tower, this is a must visit place if you are visiting Toronto. If you are from Toronto then you have probably already been here few times.
This was my second visit and decided to start my review blogging with this location for various reasons. Firstly its an international tourist destination, also it is a place that almost everyone can relate to. Everyone would find something here that they like.
As you can see from the photos, there are plenty of big and small fishes to see. They are nicely divided into regions like Pacific, Canadian fishes, Dangerous Lagoon and others. Dangerous Lagoon features some of the best big fishes including, sharks, rays, saw-fish to name a few. This is by far my most favorite section of the aquarium.
Driving and parking to this location can be tricky as it is located in the downtown and right next to the CN tower. Its is a great location if your tour includes a visit to CN Tower. Parking can be not only challenging but also expensive. On a weekend it can cost you from $15 to $35 depending upon the hours.
Fun factor is really important for places like these, however, this place will offer something for everyone and does not go over board with trying to please a set of demographic.
The over all ambiance matches very well with the theme, but that's a given considering its an aquarium.
The pricing is very moderate and its a certain value for money. A simple trick is to book the timed tickets rather then buying the anytime entry tickets. In the anytime entry tickets you can enter at any time of the day and stay in the aquarium until closing time. While in the timed ticket you need to enter at the selected time slot.
There is a nice cafe in the middle of the journey that serves amazing pizza and burgers. Its a good value fr money to eat from the cafe.
There is a workaround, you can reach the location and then book your timed tickets online, that will save you $3 every ticket.
